South Georgia – A Visitor’s Guide

Our film ‘South Georgia – A Visitor’s Guide’ is compulsory viewing for all visitors to South Georgia. Its aim is to inspire visitors to respect and protect the island and its wildlife during their visit. Narrated by sir David Attenborough, and produced by leading wildlife film makers Silverback Films, the story showcases the incredible story of South Georgia’s ecological recovery, and serves as an inspiration to us all to play our part in restoring and protecting the planet.

The film will be provided to all visit permit applicants for viewing on board vessels bound for South Georgia It is available with subtitles in several languages, and can be provided on request in higher resolution to vessels with cinema screens.

The film is licensed for viewing only via the GSGSSI website solely for non-commercial purposes and must not be broadcast.
